PREFACE We praise Almighty Allah � and convey durood and salaam to our Master, Sayyiduna Muhammad �, his blessed Family and his beloved Companions ,$,. " Say, Are those who know equal to those who do not know?" (A1- Quraan) A Sahaabi by the name of Hazrat Abdul lah bin Amr bin A' as � narrates that the Holy Prophet � once entered the musj id and saw two halqas (circles). One of them was engrossed in the zikr of Allah � while the other was busy in the attaining and teaching of deeni knowledge. Rassolallah fij!. then said, "Both these gatherings are excellent. However, those who learn the knowledge of the deen with the intention ofimparting it to others are more distinguished. I myself have been sent as a muallim (teacher) ." After saying this, he joined thc lattcr halqa. (Hadeeth Sharef!f) The impOliance of deeni knowledge can be ascertained from injunctions of the Holy Quraan as well as prophetic proclamations, e.g. "Seek knowledgefram the cradle ta thegrave", "A {fain knowledge even ([it means thatyau have to undertake ajourney to China", etc. Alhamdul illah, your institute, Darul Uloom Qadria Ghareeb Nawaaz, strives to spread and propagate this very knowledge to every home on the face ofthe earth. The book, Sunni Bahishti Zewar, written in the urdu language by a noted student of Huzoor Sadrush Shariah �, Khalil-e-Mil lat Hazrat Allama Mufti · Muhammad Khalil Khan Qadri Barkaati �, is an essential service to the propagation of Islam.
