"0 believers, when you wish to standforprayer then wash yourfaces andyour hands up to the elbows andpass your wet hands over your heads and wash yourfeet up to your ankles. " (Surah Maidah, Verse 6) A FEWAHADEETH-E-KAREEMAH The Holy Prophet . has stated, "My Ummah shall be called on the Day ofQiyaamat while their faces and hands will be bright due to the effects of wudhu . So he who can increase this brightness should do so." (Bukhari, Muslim) "A Muslim banda washes away sins of the month while making kulli (gargling of the mouth) in wudhu and when he cleans the nose then the sins of this part of the body falls away. Sins fal l away even through the eyelids when he washes his face and through the fingernails when the hands are washed. When masah of the head is made then sins from this part falls away, even from the ears, and s ins fall away through even the toenails when the feet are washed. Thereafter, going to the musjid and performing salaah is separate from this." (Maalik, Nasaai) "He who washes once in wudhu completes its " obligation while he who washes twice gains double thawaab. However, he who washes thrice completes my wudhu and that of the Ambiyah before me. " (Imaam Ahmed) 3
