"Double thawaab is for he who, during severe cold weather, makes complete wudhu." ( Tibraani) "Ten good deeds are written for he who makes wudhu upon wudhu." (Tirmizi) RULES OF FIQH From the above-mentioned ayat it is evident that there are 4 faraaiz in wudhu, 1 . Washing the face. 2. Towash the hands including elbows. 3. Masah ofthe head. 4. Towash the feet including ankles. To wash means that a minimum of two drops of water needs to flow over every area of the body part that needs to be washed. The part merely becoming moist or oiledwith water or 1 and a halfdrops ofwater being made to flow over it shall not be considered as washing and, if done so, wudhu orghusal will not be done. This is an important rule that is not taken heed ofby many and in the process the bounties ofsalaah are squandered. There are some parts ofthe body that have to be paid special attention to when washing and flowing water over. They wil l be discussed later. Masah is defined as passing a wet hand over a part of the body or making moisture reach it (Durre-Mukhtaar) 1 . Washing the face It is fardh to wash once with water every area of the face from the beginning of the f<;>rehead (generally from whre hair begins) until the chin in length and fromone earlobe to the other in bread * . I Rule- It is fardh to wash the portion of the lips that remain visible 4
