If there is a number of reasons a person has to make ghusal then making one ghusal is sufficient for all the others to be completed. The reward of all ghusals shall be att2 :ned by making niyyat of this one. (FataawaRazvia, Bahare-Shariat) 2. If ghusal was fardh on a woman but, before she could bath, her haiz commenced, she now has the choice of either bathing now or after menstruation is completed. (Alamghiri, ete) 3 . The person on whom ghusal is fardh should not delay in doing so as it has been stated in a Hadeeth, "Angels ofmercy do not enter a house with ajunubi (one upon whom ghusal is fardh) . " Ifshe delays ghusal until the last moments of the time of a Salaah then bathing now becomes fardh immediately on her. Any further delay leads to one becoming a sinner. 4. Aj unubi who wishes to eat or be close to his wife should either make wudhu or wash his face, hands, and make kulli. Ifthis is not done and he eats and drinks then there is no sin but doing so is makrooh and l eads to muhtaaji (neediness). Similarly, there is no sin i f, without bathing or wudhu, one has jimaa (sexual intercourse). (Raddul-Muhtaar) 5 . If: in Ramadaan, there is a need for ghusal at night then it is best i fone baths before Subah-Saadiq so that every part of the fast is free from uncleaniness. There will be no defect to the fast, though, ifghusal is not done. However, it is best ifone gargles the mouth thoroughly and cleans the nose carefully with water. Both these actions should be done before the time ofFajr commences as they cannot be completed so easilywhile fasting. To take one's time to bath unti l the appearance of day and letting namaaz become qadha is definitely a sin in other days and a severe sin in the month ofRamadaan. (Alamghiri, ete) 22
