When one nears the word, "Laa" a circle should be made with the baby and ring fingerjoined to the palm and the finger next to the ring finger touching the thumb. The index finger (Shahaadat finger) should be raised, but not shaken, on the word "Laa" and dropped on the word "Ilaa" with all other fingers straightened immediately. Ifmore than two Rakaats is to be performed then one should stand up again. However, standing must not take p lace by placing the hands on the ground. Rather, force is to be placed on the knees to stand up. I f there is a problem, though, then no harm is incurred. There is no need to recite a Surah or Ayat in these Rakaats if the namaaz is a Fardh one. Surah Fathihamust be read and only that is sufficient.
