Rule- If a person spent the entire Qaaidah-e-Akhira sleeping then after waking up it is Fardh to sit until the period of Tashaahud. Otherwise, namaaz will not be fulfilled. Similarly if one sleeps from the beginning until the end of a Qiyaam, Qiraat, Ruku, Sujood then after waking up to complete it again is Fardh. If not then namaaz will not be done and Sajda-e-Sahw must be made. (Raddul-Muhtaar) People are mindless to this, especially in Taraweeh Salaah during summer. (Bahare-Shariat) Rule- After completing 4 Rakaats Fardh but not sitting for Qaida a person stands for a fifth Rakaat then, until she does not make Saj da, she should sit down make Sajda-e-Sahw and salaam thereafter. Namaaz will be done. However, ifSajda was made in the fifth Rakaat or a person did not sit after the second Rakaat of the Fardh of Faj r, stood up and completed the Sajda of the third Rakaat or a person did not sit after the third Rakaat of the Fardh ofmaghrib, stood up and completed the Sajda of the fourth Rakaat then in all these situations the Fardh Salaah all become Nafl Therefore another Rakaat should be added, besides Maghrib, so as the Rakaats become an even numberand the fifth or third Rakaat does not stand alone. Another Rakaat must not be added to Maghrib because it has now become even with 4 Rakaats. (Durre­ Mukhtaar, Raddul-Muhtaar) 7.Khurooj hi Sun 'ihi- To intentionally make salaam after Qaida-e­ Akhira to conclude salaah. Besides salaam, if any other action is intentionally done then to repeat the namaz becomes waaj ib. If unintentiqnally any action which is not allowed is found in namaaz then namaaz becomes Baatil (nullified). To perform it again completely becomes Fardh.
