After every namaaz, Istighfaar should be read thrice, Ayatul Kursi and the three Quls (Surah Ikhlas. Falq. Naw,) once each. 2. Subhanallah and Alhamdullilah 33 times each with Allahu Akbar 34 times. The Hadeeth states that the person who says these Zikr after namaaz will not meet disappointment. FACTORS THAT BREAK NAMAAZ RlIle- Speaking in any way, wether intentionally or being compelled by someone to do so, even i f it is one word, nullifies Namaaz. (Durre­ Mukhtam) RlIle- In salaah, making salaam to someone or answering it, saying "Yarhamukullah" in reply to someone who sneezes, saying "Al­ Hamdullilah" with the intention ofa reply or saying it when hearing any news, saying "lallajalaaluhu" when hearing the name ofAllah, reciting Durood when hearing the name of the Holy Prophet �, answering the Azaan, cursing Shaitaan when hearing his name, reading "Laa-Howla" to dispel worldly thoughts, all ofthe above nullify Namaaz. (Alamghiri. Durre-Mukhtaar) Rule- Namaaz is broken if two letters are spoken due to unnecessarily coughing. Saying "Aa ,Uf' due to any pain or problem or, when crying, one takes out a syllable then this also causes Salaah not to be done. (Durre-Mukhtaar, Raddul-Muthaar) 69
