Similarly, reciting Surah Ikhlaas also suffices for the waaj ib to be complete. (Fataawa Razvia) SUNNAT AND NAFL SALAAH The Holy Prophet � has said, "The muslim banda who daily perfonns 1 2 rakaats for Allah � besides the Fardh has an estate built for him in Jannat, 4 before and 2 after Zohar, 2 after Maghrib,2 after Esha and 2 before Faj ar Salaah . " (Muslim) Rule- The Sunnat consisting of4 Rakaats, e.g. that ofZohar must all be read with one salaam. Meaning, after performing the 4 Rakaats, salaam must be made on the fourth one. Ifnot then the Sunnat will not be done. Similarly, if 4 Rakaats is vowed and is performed by reading two Rakaats of namaaz twice, then the vow will not be completed.
