2. The wealth oftheir spouses should not be wasted. 3 . With chastity, they should not let their husbands repute be tarnished. Our s isters oftoday who live in the "modern technologically advanced century" should take heed ofnot losing practice on the imperative ofthe Holy Quraan and Islam. We now present a fewAhadeeth regarding this. The Holy Prophet� has said, 1 . Awoman has the rights ofher husband over her more than anyone else and.aman has the rights ofhis mother over himmore than anybody else. (Haakim) 2. If I were to order anybody to make Sajda for any creation I would command a wife to make Saj da to her husband as Allah has given the well being of husbands in the custody of their wives. Oath on Him in whose control lies the existence of Muhammad ! A woman does not complete the rights ofAllah unless she fulfills the needs ofher husband. (AbuDawood, Haakim) 3 . A woman· does not experience the sensation of Imaan unless she completes the rights ofher husband. (Tibraani) 4. The rights of a husband over a wife is that she should not desert his resting place and she should complete his oath. Without his consent she should not go out and not allow anyone in the home whose being in it is disliked by him. (Tibraani) 5 . The woman who perfonns her five daily salaah, keeps fast during Ramadaan, safeguards her modesty and is obedient to her husband can enter Jannat fromwhichever door she wishes. (Abu Nuaim) 6. In Jannat there is only the difference of one station between the Shuhadaa and the woman who is obedient to Allah, fulfi lls her husbands rights, reminds h im to do good and does not misappropriate her respect or her husbands wealth. Thereafter ifher husband is a virtuous mumin, she will be his wife in Jannat. I fnot then a Shaheed will be her husband. (Tibraani) 85
