Ghazali�writes, "Due to the fact that the manners of an individual are instilled within him or her at childhood, thus care needs to be paid to this time of life. Children should be taught how to eat, dress correctly and complimented when they do something good. They should be discouraged from laziness and any form of behavior that is unbecoming. When they do anything wrong they should be made to understand what is correct and what is not. Children are not to be sworn or cursed . The manners of social-interaction should also be taught to them. At an appropriate a'ge they should be sent for forltlal education (Islamic and secular) and should also be allowed time for p lay." The love and respect of Rassoollalah� should be instilled within them and children should be encouraged towards adopting all noble traits of Ilm, sincerity p iety, selflessness etc and discouraged from disliked habits of lies, back­ b iting,j ealousy etc. (Summarized, Mishalatul Irshaad) NAFL NAMAAZ There are many Nafl (optional) Salaah and an individual is allowed to perform as many Nafl Namaaz he or she wishes during times wherein making Salaah is not prohibited. We present a few Namaaz below. However it should also be kept in mind that it is waaj ib on the man or woman who has Qadhaa Salaah to complete them as soon as possible. After the essentials ofworking, taking care offamily needs etcwhatever free time is attained should be spent in making Qadhaa Salaah until they become complete. Qadhaa Salaah are more important than Nafl. Meaning the time a person has to perform Nafl Salaah should be dedicated to make Qadhaa and Nafl aborted so that one becomes free from its obligation.
