intended to be perfom1ed. . 1 . Tahayatul-Wudhu It is Mustahab to perform two Rakaats ofnamaaz after makingWudhu before the body parts become dry provided that it is not Makrooh time. Rassoollalah&1. has said, "Jannat is waaj ib for the person who makes Wudhu carefully and performs two Rakaats in full concentration." (Muslim) Rule- Perfom1ing two Rakaats after Ghusal is also Mustahab. After making Wudhu ifFardh etc Salaaah is performed before the body parts become dry then that namaaz will be sufficient as Tahayatu l-Wudhu. (Raddul-Muhtaar) 2. Namaaz-e-Ishraaq This namaaz is read at the very least 20 minutes after the sun rises. Either two or four rakaats whichever is appropriate should be read. The Hadeeth states that the person who after perfonning Fajr with Jamaat (If he is a man) remains in AlIahs Zikr and after the sun rises (the time of which is 20 minutes) performs two rakaats ofnamaaz, attains the reward ofa complete Hajj and Umrah. Namaaz-e-Chaasht When the sun has risen completely and there is acute sunshine then this is the time for Chaasht Salaah which is ofat least two Rakaats or twelve at most with 1 2 being the most excellent. The Ahadeeth have spoken of its excel lence with one narration stating, "The person who performs 1 2 Rakaats ofChaasht Namaaz gets a palace o fgold built for him byAllah in Jannat". (TirmiziJ Rule- The time ofChaasht Salaah begins fromwhen the sun rises visibly until Zawaal. Chaasht should be read before Zawaal but the most excellent time for this Salaah is when quarter of the day has passed. (Alamghiri, Raddul-Muhtaar) 95
