(Hidaaya) Rule- Ifdoubt occurs inWitr Namaaz regarding wether it is the second or third rakaat thenDua-e-Qunoot should be read in the final rakaat and after the Qaaida another rakaat should be read with Dua-e-Qunoot againand Sajda-e-Sahw also. (Alamghiri) Rule- There is no credibility to the doubt that is experienced after namaaz is completed. AfterNarnaaz ifthere is certainty that a particular Fardh has been left out but there is doubt overwhich one then to read the namaaz again is Fardh. (Raddul-Muhtaar) .Rule- When doubt is experienced about having read the appointed namaaz of the time or not then if there is time left , it should be read again. However if there is no time then it should not be repeated. (Alamghiri) NAMAAZ BY A SICK PERSON The personwho due to sickness does not have the strength to stand and read namaaz is allowed by the Shariah to sit and perform Salaah with Ruku and Suj ood if, by standing , there is harm, the sickness will increase, there is a true fear that health will be regainedmuch later, one experiences dizziness or an unbearable pain by standing. There is no exact form of sitting that is necessary in this condition. Rather the most easy and comfortable manner of sitting for the sick person to perform the salaah should be adopted. (Durre-Mukhtaar, A lamghiri) Rule- Ifnamaaz cannot be read without a support then it should be read resting against a pillow, wall etc. When even this cannot be done then the sick person should perform salaah lying down, using gestures for Ruku and Sujood.
