2 . The following dua should be read on every stop to be saved from every problem and it is better if two rakaats of namaaz is read there. 3. When bidding someone farewell this dua should be said, IMPORTANT NOTE It is not permissible for a woman to undertake a journey ofmore than three days without a Mahram. It is necessary that her travel companion is a Baaligh Mahram or husband. (Alamghiri) It is necessary on the Mahram that accompanies her to be virtuous. To travel with a Mahram who does not fear Allah or does not take the Shariah into account is not permissible.(Durre-Mukhtaar, Raddul­ Muhtaar} Rule- In going to Makka for Hajj or Umra, a woman has to undertake a journey ofthree days or more. Therefore it is necessary and a condition that she be accompanied by her husband or a Mahram on this journey irrespective ofwether she is young or old. AMahram is that male with whom a woman's Nikah is always Haraam be it through blood ties, milk-fostering or in-law relationships. (Jauharaa, Alamghiri, Dun'e­ Mukhtaar) No matter the amount of zeal, if a woman goes for Hajj without her husband or a Mahram she will be a major sinner. On every step ofHajj, sin will be accumulated even though the Fardh will be completed.
