At this time the cursed Shaitaan wishes to steal away Imaan but only the person who is saved by Allah from Shaitaan passes away with Imaan and receives the fruit of Imaan. The Holy Prophet �has said, "The person whose final state was on Lai laaha illala (meaning Kalima Tayyiba) has entered Jannat." A few masaail regarding this time now follow. When death nears and the following signs are visible i . e breathing intensifies, the feet become weak and do not have the strength to stand, the nose becomes crooked, the skin around the mouth becomes hard, / then it is sunnat to place the person nearing death on his or her right side " fac ing Qibla. It is also permissible to make the person lie on his or her back and place the feet towards Qibla, as the Kaaba will be faced in this manner also. If facing the Qibla is difficult and problematic for the person then he or she should be left in the position he or she is in.
