3 . There is no inter-mingling ofthe sexes. 4. It is not a gathering against the Shariah. 5 . It is not a gathering of music and dance. 6. Immoral women arenot present there. 7. The gatherings ofweddings should be free from Shaitaanic music. 8. No obscene language or instrumental music should be there also. A husband can stop his wife from attending such gatherings (with the above defects) rather he must prohibit her from going. Girls who are under the guardianship ofparents should be stopped by them also from attending these kind ofgatherings. (Fataawa Razvia) Hence it is because of these very reasons that when a few reputed Ulema were asked if it is pennissible for women to visit the graveyard they answered, "Do not ask wether it is pennissible or not ask of the Laanat they accumulate if they go. When they intend going Allah and His angels send their Laanat on them, when they come out of their homes Shaitaan surrounds them from all sides, the soul of the Mayyit curses them when they come to the grave and when these women return home they returnwith the curse ofAllah." (Tataa. T(haaniya) This rule has been made to protect women from the mischiefofFaasiq men not to cause harm to them. Rule- Sadqa, Khairaat or Niaz eg sweetmeats, fruits etc should not be distributed in the graveyard as there is a fear of the graves ofMuslims being disrespected by the crowd ofpeople which is Hara<:m. Sadqa etc in whatever amount wished should be distributed from the home. (MalJoozaate-AalaHazrat) Rule- It is permissible to appoint a Hafiz by the qabr to recite the Holy .f Quraan.
