It is necessary that the people fed in the first meal be fed in the second as wel l . (Durre-MukhtaCll: Raddul-Muhtaar) Rule- It i s also permissible if every Miskeen (poor person) is given and made the Maalik of the amount of Sadqa-e-Fitr. This too can be done that they are given its amount in the evening and fed in the morning or vice versa. In short in whatever way the amount of60 can be completed, the individual has the choice over it. (Durre-Mukhtaar, Raddul Muhtaar) NAFL RAUZA After Ramadaan the most excellent time to keep Rauza and perform other good deeds is from the first until the tenth of Zul-Hajjah. . . Rassoollalah � has said, "No good deed perfonned in another day is more beloved to Allah than that performed in these ten days. Keeping fast on one day is equal to fasting an entire year and every standing in (Nafl) Ibaadat at night is equal to standing in Lailatul-Qadr." (Tirmizi, Ibn Majah) l . The first ofArafah (the ninth oJZull-Hajjah) especially, is the most significant of the year as this fast is equal to thousands of Rauza according to Sahih Ahadeeth. It also eradicates two complete years of sin, the previous and coming year. (Muslim) 2 . Thereafter the most excellent fast of all days is that ofAshura (the tenth oJMuharram) as it serves as Maghtirat (forgiveness) for the sins of theprevious year. (Muslim) When the Holy Prophet � came to Madina, he found the jews fasting on the day ofAshura. When he enquired the reason for fasting on this day they submitted, "This is a distinguished day as Hazrat Moosa %§\ and his nation were saved by Allah � while F irown and his people were drowned by Him.
