(Bukhari, Muslim) An Important point It can be deduced from this Hadeeth that to remember the day in which Allah bestowed a special blessing i s conect and beloved rather it is desired from the Shariah because that b lessing wi l l be remembered and Shukr of A llah wi l l spontaneously be made. Therefore this remembrance becomes ameans to thankAllah. The Quraan itselfstates, ::slli >G , , ) "Make them remember the days ofAl lah." (Surah Ibrahim, Verse 5) Meaning the day in which significant b lessings ofA llah were bestowed to various nations and people, e.g. Governance, power, safety from famine, v ictory over enemies etc. In short all important historical events faH underAyyamullah (days ofA llah). Undoubtedly, the b irth of our Holy Prophet i s the most important e,-cnt for us Muslims and there cannot be a day more greater than this. This day should be remembered, as b lessings, worldly and that of the Aakhirat, physical, spiritual etc are all attained through his Sadqa. An important aim of co-ordinating gatherings of Meelad-e-Paak is this as well . Wahabies intend to stop us from thi s noble practice by their b lathering. Allah save us from them, Ameen !
