The person who makes Ghusal on this day wi l l not contract illness throughout the year excepting the sickness of death and the eyes of he who appl ies Sunna (with a good intention) on this day will not pain meaning the eye ofhis heart, the conscience , will be bright. 3. He who makes Qiyaam and Zikr on the night of Ashura and fasts during the day will not feel his death (meaning he will be savedfrom the torments o{death) 4. He who keeps the fast ofAshura ({or the mere pleasure ofA llah) is like one who kept Rauza the entire year. 5 . The Mus l im who gives out on this day attains the reward of giving Sadqa ofone complete year. 6. He who passes his hand ofcare over the head of an orphan on this day (is compassionate andfulfills the child 's needs) will be elevated in Jannat byAllah for ever strand ofhair the hand goes over. 7. The person who is kind to relatives on this day will be with Hazrat Yahya �\ and Esaa �\ in Jannat (and have the honor to serve them). (Nuzhatul-Majaalis) In short Ashura is that blessed day whose excellence is spoken of unanimously by all Deeni Books. Fortunate are those who respect the month ofMuharram (known as the month ofA llah � in the Hadeeth), concentrate themselves to fulfil! the commands of A llah �and His Rasool � and in performing good deeds.
