Once the Fardh has been completed, traveling excessively is not appropriate for a woman as her being in Purdah as much as possible is best. (FataawaRazvia) Rule- It is a condition that a woman is accompanied by a Mahram on a journey, irrespective if she is old or young, virtuous or weak. AMahram is that male with whom Nikah is Haraam forever for that woman. (Durre-Mukhtaar) Rule- Traveling forHajj is for the attainment ofThawaab but going for it without a Mahram orwith a shameless Mahram, adopted son or father will incur sin being recorded for every step taken instead of reward even ifby going without a Mahram and performing Hajj is sufficient for the Fardh to be completed. (FataawaRazvia) Rule- It is not waaj ib on a woman to make Nikah to go for Hajj i fshe is without a husband or does not have any trust worthy Mahrams. If she has a Mahram then she should go with him to complete the Fardh Hajj even ifher husband does not give her permission.
