1 6. Men are ordered to make Halq after Qurbaani facing Qibla meaning they are to shave the entire head as this is Afzal or cut their hair which is a Rukhsat (permission) for them. Halq on women is Haraam. They are to cut only an entire strand ofhair. (Fataawa Razvia, Bahare-Shariat) Rllle- On the 1 0th of Zull-Hajjah, if a woman could not go for fardh tawaaf (also known as Tawaat-e-Ziyaarat) due to crowds ofmen, then the eleventh date is Afzal after it. The big benefit of this day is that there are few men present and women can fulfill Saee, Tawaaf and kissing Hajre-Aswad with contentment. The women who cannot go on the eleventh should go on the twelfth but to delay it after this unnecessarily is a sin. One Qurbaani is to be made in Jirmaana (as ajine). Yes ifHaiz or Nifaas came for a woman then she should make Tawaaf after it is completed. However if after Haiz or Nifaas there remains enough time on the twelfth before the sun sets to bath and make 4 rounds ofTawaaf then to do so is Waaj ib and she is a sinner i fshe does not do so. Similarly if she had enough time to make Tawaaf but did not and Haiz or Nifaas came then she is a sinner . (Raddul-Muhtaal� Rllle- If a woman did not perforn1 Tawaaf-e-Wadaa (which is waajib on non residents and when intending to leave Makka) and Haiz is experienced then this Tawaaf does not remain Waajib on her. Such a woman is ordered to stand at the entrance of the Musj id and with a sincere look at the Kaaba , make dua and return. (Fataawa Razvia) Rllle- During the days of Hajj , the coming of Haiz or Nifaas does not disallow a woman from completing any Ibaadat. All actions ofHajj , e.g. Wuqoofe-Arafat, Wuqoofe-Muzadalifa etc are to be completed by a woman with Haiz orNifaas. However, i n this state it is Haraam for her to enter the Kaaba or make it' s Tawaaf even from outside the H"ram as it is not permissible or Halaal for her to enter any Musjid in this condition.(General Books) Allah � grants the ability ,then Ziyaarat of Madina Tayyiba should also be made, Ameen! 1 75
