Heavenly Jewels
said by a woman in Iddat ofdeath. The woman sitting in Iddat ofTalaaq is not allowed to say this even. (Fataawa Razvia) Rllle- N ikah can be made with a woman who is pregnant through Zina. Then. ifthe child is his then he can makeWati with her and if the child is someone else ' s then Wati is not permissible with her until the child is born. Nikah with anyone, cannot occur with a woman whose pregnancy is Thaabitun-Nasab (the child s lineage isproved). (Alamghirz) RAZAAT (MILK FEEDING) Razaat is proven when milk of a woman is drunk and "drinking" does not mean the general met h od of milk feeding but even if milk enters through the nose and throat it will be proven, be it a little or a large amount. However this is only when it is known that the milk has reached inside. If the child puts his mouth to the breast and it is not known i fhe drank the milk, then Hurmat is not proven. (Jauhara) Rllle- Amother left breast feeding her child but another woman gave her milk to the child to drink then Razaat is proven if this occurred under 2 and a half years. If it did not take place under this period then Razaat is not proven. (Alamghiri) Rllle- The woman whose milk the child drinks becomes the child's mother. Her husband, children wether before or after the milk feeding of the child from this husband ofhers or from another, becomes the child's father, brothers and sisters by milk feeding. Similarly all their relatives become the child's, e.g. sister becomes the aunt, brother becomes the uncle, etc. (Alamghiri) Rllle- Whoever is Haraam by Nasab is also prohibited by Razaat. Yes there are a few men and women who are excluded from this general rule. At the time of necessity, the Ulema should be asked who are exempt. Rllle- Ifmilk comes to a teenage girl and a child drinks it in the period of Razaat or drank the mi'lk of a dead woman, then Razaat is proven. 1 88
