Yes ifthey want to stay the night over then he has the choice of allowing or disallowing. Similarly the wife is permitted to visit her parents home once a week but without the consent of her spouse, cannot spend the night over there. If she went to visit somebody else, made Ayaadat or attend a function even after being prohibited by her husband, then she has committed a sin. I fhe allowed her to go to a function or gathering knowing well that there will be no Purdah there and she goes then both are sinners. (Durre-Mukhtaar) Rule- There is no need to stop awoman who engages herselfin sewing etc within the home meaning anything done within the home that is allowed and does not interfere in her discharging her duties as a wife or mother. When she busies herself in these things, she will be saved from idle thinking andWaswasaa. (Raddul-Muhtaar) Rule- Nafqaa ofNaa Baaligh children is Waaj ib on the father if they do not have money in their property. It becomes Waaj ib on him also i f the Baaligh son is disabled, blind, insane , being unable to earn a l iving and does not have wealth in his property. The Nafqaa of a girl who does not have wealth in her property, and unmarried is unconditionally the responsibility of the father even if her body parts have no problem. 2 1 7
