Aperson proficient in the recital of the Holy Quraan (Reads easilyand fluently) is with the Kiraaman-Kaatibeen and he who does not read easily and fluently receives two rewards (meaningrecital is hardforhim but hestill tries). The person who recites one harf (letter) of the Quraan will receive in reward one good deed equivalent to ten. I do not say that Alif-Laam Meem is one harf, but Alif, Laam and Meem are all separate harfs. (Abu Dawood) 5 .The parents ofhe who reads the Quraan and acts upon whatever is in it will be given a crown to wear on the Day of Qayaamat. Shafaat of he who memorizes the Quraan and deems its Halaal and Haraam to be Halaal and Haraam respectivelywill be accepted byAllah � for ten such members of his family upon whom lahanam was made waaj ib.
