(Bukhari) Hazrath Abu Hurairah � narrates that Rasoolallah � has said, "Sometimes a banda says something pleasant to Allah and does not concentrate on it (meaning it is not something major in the sight ofthe bondsman) but through it Allah e levates his rank. Sometimes a banda says something unpleasant to Allah and does not think much of it but is thrown into lahannum because of it." And in another narration, " The area in lahannum where he is thrown into is, more than the distance of the east andwest". (Bukhan) Indeed, according to Ahkaam, Irtidaad is more severe than original Kufr. Muslims should always be conscious ofthe deception ofShaitaan who is always attempts to lead you away from Islam. We should not have trust in our obedience and Aamaal, rather have faith in Allah ' s protection. AHKAAM REGARDING IRTIDAAD /1ule- A woman and Naa-Baaligh child who comprehends should not be executed if they become Murtad, rather they should be imprisoned until Tauba is made and Islam accepted. The woman who was Murtad but entered Islam again will be forced to make Nikah with her first husband. She is not allowed to make Nikah to another and this is the rule on which verdict is given. (Durre-Mukhtaar, A lamghiri) Rule- The Tauba made by a Murtad for Irtidad wiH be accepted. However the repentance of some Murtads e.g. the person who disrespects any Nabi , will not be accepted. Tauba being accepted means that after repentance the I slamic ruler will not execute him. (Raddul­ Muh taar) 254
