About the Author The Holy Prophet. states: When the son of Hadrat Adam dies, the reward of all his actions are severed/the reward ceases/stops. Except for 3 things whose reward the deceased still receives: Sadaqatun Jariyah - perpetual charity e.g. building Masajid, Madaris, beneficial knowledge - such as teaching Islamic knowledge, writing books, publishing and distributing Islamic books, building institutions of Islamic knowledge or pious children, which make du'a for their deceased parents. In light of the Hadith we shall look at the life and works of a great'Alim, a great Mufti, a great Shaykh of the Spiritual Path, who has been kept in the dark for many years, and who most people may not even be aware of. Though we have directly or indirectly benefitted greatly from' this personality, we are yet uninformed of his blessed life; a life that had given life to many, a life that had transformed the lives of many, a life that was all spent in the path of Allah Ta'ala, a life that acted like a candle which gave light to many others. This great individual is none other than the Khalifa of A'lahazrat, Hadrat Sadrush Shari'ah Qadi Hakim Amjad'Ali A'azmi. Hudur Sadrush Shari'ah was a great scholar, a scholar that merely looking at his face is ibaadah, a scholar who was drenched in the fear of Allah'Azz wa Jall, who was a true reflection of the verse: Indeed, it is the people of knowledge who truly fear Allah, a scholar who was not only a great 'Alim of Shari'ah, but who was also a master of Tariqah, a scholar who produced such great 'UlemalMashaikh who spread the light of Islam throughout the world, a great scholar whom A.'lahazrat loved dearly, a scholar who was held with high esteem by Hujjatul Islam, 4
