The most popular method of attaining wealth that is encountered everyday is Khareed (buying) and Farookht (selling). Indeed, business is an excellent profession but the majority of traders and businessmen, swear false oaths and use lies to extend theirgain. It is for this reason, the Hadeeth always prohibits doing so whenever mentioning business. If traders want barkat in their sales, they should refrain from speaking lies. It is due to these incorrect practices ofbusinessmen that the market place is termed the most disliked piece ofearth and why Shaitaan comes everyday to the market place with his flag. Also, why going there unnecessarily is regarded as a bad action . The Holy Quraan states, "By men whom neither trade nor business diverts from the remembrance ofAllah. " (SurahNoor, Verse 3 7) In the shade ofthe aboveAyat, we should not become so engrossed and mesmerized in obtaining wealth, profit and riches to the extent that we leave making the Zikr of Al lah and our responsibilities to the Deen. Sahih Bukhari states that the Sahaaba � used to do business but were never once negligent to the rights ofAllah $.. (Bahare-Shariat) A BENEFICIAL DUA The following Dua should be made at the time of entering the market p lace. Rassoollalah �states that Allah � writes 1 00 000 good deeds and erases 1 00 000 sins of the person who recites this Dua. He elevates his rank 1 00 000 times and builds a home for him in Jannat.
