Rule- There i s no harm in l ight hearted humor, provided that it is free from unbecoming utterances, swearing or causing pain to another Muslim. (Alamghiri) Rule- The most excellent language is Arabic as it is the l anguage ofour Holy Prophet �, the Quraan was revealed in it and it will be spoken in Jannat as well. The person who learns this language, teaches it to others will attain Thawaab. (Durre-Mukhtaar) Indeed the Quraan, Hadeeth and all primary sources ofIslamic law and knowledge are all in the language of Arabic. A Muslim can conclude from this , how important it is to know this language and the harm due to not being fami liar with it. (Bahare-Shariat) Rule- Mixing Urdu stanzas ofNaseehat (orFom any other language) in the Khutba of Jumaa is contrary to the Sunnat and the practice of Muslims from the time of the Sahaaba �� until now. Al-Humdull ilah, thousands of non-Arab cities were conquered in the period of the Sahaaba �� and Arabic was not known at al l in these areas. In spite of this however, it i s not recorded any where that the blessed companions � gaveKhutba in a language other than Arabic or mixed it with another. Saying, "We don't understand Arabic," is not credible or a valid excuse because if it was, then the Sahaaba �� would have conceded to it. When they did not, then how can we? The actual matter is that the Shariah has made it Waaj ib to attain knowledge. If the public does not acquire it then it is their short coming. The Quraan is also in Arabic and not comprehended by them. Should the Quraan be read in another language (in Namaaz) for them to understand? (Fataawa Razvia) In short, it is necessary on every Muslim male and female to learn the language ofArabic. Rule- Aman can haveWati with the woman who was decorated and sent to his room on the nuptial night even ifhe does not recognize her ,ur was told that this is your wife, as no other woman is adorned and sent to the room on this particular night, except the bride.
