(Durre-MukhtaQl) Rule- Call ing parents and grandparents by their names is prohibited, Makrooh, contrary to respect and a means ofBarkat not being acquired. S imi larly, for a woman to cal l her husband by h i s name is Makrooh as well . (Durre-MukhtaQl) However, calling him by his name does not break the Nikah. (Bahare Shariat) Rule- To come out of the house in an earthquake or when its wal ls are falling is permissible. (Alamghiri) Rule- To run away from a place where there is plague i s not allowed and people from outside this area should not enter i t as wel l . However this Hukm is for those with weak faith who believe that they wi l l contract the plague by going there or if they run away and are saved, attribute their being saved solely to having run away from the area. Those with strong Itmian, though, leaving and entering the area has no problem. The Hadeeth has not absolutely prohibited coming out ofsuch an area, it has prohibited running away from it. (Bahare-Shariat) Rule- Dua for Maghfirat cannot be made for a person who remained a Kaafir and died as one without Tauba. Yes, dua for H idaayat (guidance to the straightpath) can be made for a Kaafir. (Alamghiri) Similarly, only dua for Hidaayat can be made for Budd-Deens. They shoul d not be called Marhooms, Maghfoor or Rehma-Tul lahialai added to their names. Books ofAqaaid state that i fdua ofMaghfirat is made for a Kaafir after h i s death e.g. Murtad, Cristian, Jew, Hindu etc or i f the deceased Kaafir is called j annati, then the person who suppl icates and 287
