Once, a person came to the Holy Prophet $ and spoke ofa woman who had an excessive amount of Namaaz, Rauza and Sadqa to her credit but her neighbors were not safe from her verbal lashings. He declared, "She is in 1 ahannam." The person then spoke ofanother woman who did not have a major amount of (Najl) Namaaz, Rauza and Sadqa to her name but she did not cause grief to her neighbors. Rassoollalah � declared, "She i s in 1 annat." (Baihaqi) Women should pay special attention to the Hadeeth above and always bear it i n mind. Other Ahadeeth "documenting the rights of neighbors state that, 1 . When they ask for help then assi st them. 2. Ifthey ask for something, lend it to them. 3. Fulfill their needs ifthey are needy. 4. Visit them when they are sick. 5. Congratulate them on a happy occasion. 6. Console them on an adversity. J. Attend their lanaazahwhen they pass away. 8 . Without permission, do not extend your home as their wind can be stopped. 9. Ifyou by some fruit, send some to them as well . 1 0. Do not taunt them with the aroma ofyour cooki ng pots.
