After having practised medicine for a year, he then started his teaching career, firstly by teaching at the Madrasah of his teacher Hadrat Muhaddith-e-Surti in Pilibhit form 3 years. During this time, A'lahazrat needed a good highly qualified teacher to teach at Darul Uloom Manzar-e-Islam in Bareilly Sharif. Thus, A'lahazrat consulted his dearest friend, Hadrat Muhaddith-e-Surti, who sent his own bright student, Hadrat Sadrush Shari'ah, saying these words to A'lahazrat: I am sending to you a precious gem ofmy life Thus, Hudur Sadrush Shari'ah left Pilibhit to go to Bareilly Sharif. Here, in Bareilly Sharif he taught in Manzar-e-Islam, he was entrusted with the supervision of printing A'lahazrat's books, was made president of the educational branch of Jama'at Raza-e-Mustafa • (a mission established by A'lahazrat himself). On top of all this, he also issued fatawa under the guidance and supervision of A'lahazrat. Whilst with A'lahazrat, Hadrat Sadrush Shari'ah not only taught, but also learnt to the extent that the Great Reviver of Islam, Mujaddid-e-A'zam A'lahazrat proclaimed: You will find the quality of tafaqquh (a great insight and understanding of the deen) to a higher degree in Shaykh Amjad 'ali more than anyone else present here. This statement in itself is a great sign and indication to the lofty station of Hudur Sadrush Shari'ah in the court of A'lahazrat. After having spend many years in the company of A'lahazrat, and seeing many aspects of his life spent in the propagation of the pristine teaching of the AHlus Sunnah wal Jama'ah and kindling the ardent love of the Beloved Prophet. in the hearts of people, Hudur Sadrush Shari'ah chose A'lahazrat as his Pir-o-Murshid and thus swore the oath of allegiance at his blessed hands.
