Heavenly Jewels
Sadrush Shari'ah was a man of great patience and tolerance. This was to the extent that in total 11 of his children and family members had passed away, but this did not affect his religious duties the slightest. It so happened, that his eldest son Hakim Maulana Shamsul Huda Sahib passed away in the month of Ramadan, whilst Hadrat Sadrush Shari'ah waS engaged in performing the Tarawih Prayer. News of his son's death was given to him and so he went, said Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilayhi Raji'oon and said, 'there are still 8 rak'ats we have to perform for Tarawih,' and thus engaged in performing the remaining rak'ats of Tarawih. In total, Sadrush Shari'ah was blessed with 1 2 children - 9 sons and 3 daughters. He brought every single son and daughter of his in an Islamic environment. Without a shadow of doubt, to transform all of his sons and daughters into scholars, Muhaddithin, Fuqaha, teachers, orators, writers, propagators of the deen is his karamat in itself and also a unique blessing bestowed upon him from Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. Today, we find it extremely difficult to persuade our children to go to centres of Islamic knowledge to learn the deen, let alone making them into 'Ulema! Yet here every single child is a possessor of the light of knowledge and wisdom. Surely, this is unique to Hadrat Sadrush Shari'ah and a great blessing. Till date, his son Hudur Muhaddith-e-Kabeer Hadrat'Allama Mufti Ziya ul-Mustafa sahib - who is now more than 70 years of age - is engaged in propagating Islam worldwide. The Messenger of Allah. states: A man giving/imparting knowledge and teaching adab to his son is better than giving thousands in charity. In another Hadith, the Messenger of Allah. has stated: 8
