When they meet you, they say: “We believe,” but when they are alone they bite their fingertips out of rage. Say, “Die in your rage!” God knows well people’s innermost feelings. 120 When you have good time, they are saddened, but when you have hard time, they are happy. As long as you are patient and guard yourselves against them , their plotting will not harm you. God is aware of what they do. T B U 121 Remember that morning, when you left your home to align the believers in their fighting position. God is the Hearer, the Knower. 122 When your two parties considered giving up the fight , though God was their protector; so let the believers put their trust in God. 123 God had helped you in the battle of Badr, when you were weak, be mindful of God so that you are thankful to Him . N A ’ 124 Remember when you were motivating the believers: “Aren’t you glad your Lord helped you with three thousand angels sent down as reinforcement ?” 125 Of course, God will send five thousand angels swooping down if you are steadfast and mindful, even if the enemy attacks suddenly. 126 God did so to raise your spirits and to reassure you, help comes from God the Almighty, the Wise. 127 It was done to cut off one of the flanks of the disbelievers’ army or to weaken them so much that they fled in disarray. 128 It isn’t your concern whether God forgives them or punishes them; they are wrongdoers. 129 All things in the Heavens and on Earth belong to God; He forgives anyone He pleases, and He punishes anyone He pleases. God is the Forgiver, the Kind. T 130 Believers, do not take compound interest , 63 increasing your wealth unjustly , and fear God so that you may prosper; 131 protect yourselves from the Fire prepared for the disbelievers, 132 and obey God and the Messenger so you are treated kindly.
